Extremely durable
Wool fibres have a natural crimp and elasticity that allow them to bend, stretch and spring back thousands of times without breaking. This resilience means wool maintains its shape and appearance far longer than most synthetic materials.
Fire resistant
Wool is naturally difficult to ignite because of its high nitrogen and moisture content, and it self-extinguishes rather than melting or dripping. It also produces significantly less toxic smoke than synthetic fibres, making it one of the safest materials for home interiors, packaging and insulation.
Natural
Grown on pasture, water and sunlight, wool is a completely natural fibre that renews itself every year. It contains no petrochemicals, no plastics and no synthetic additives - just the integrity of a material shaped by the landscape.
Hypoallergenic
Wool doesn’t trap dust in the air - instead, its structure captures allergens and particulates, keeping them out of circulation until vacuumed. It is also naturally resistant to mould and mildew thanks to its moisture-regulating properties.
Sustainable & Biodegradable
Wool biodegrades in soil within months to a few years, releasing valuable nutrients back into the earth instead of leaving behind microplastics. New Zealand wool also carries a carbon footprint far lower than global averages and is grown in systems that include extensive natural vegetation, helping offset emissions.
Moisture Management
Wool can absorb up to 35 percent of its own weight in moisture vapour without feeling damp, buffering humidity and helping prevent condensation. This makes indoor environments drier, healthier and more comfortable.
